CLT NOMINEES
The Church Leadership Team (CLT) exists to provide oversight, general guidance, and accountability to the Pastoral Staff whom God has called to carry out the ministry of the church. The CLT is made up of the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, and six laymen whom the church recognizes as gifted and qualified spiritual leaders. The six laymen are men who have previously served as Deacons and are nominated by the church.
Two men are being recommended to begin serving. Those being recommended are Lee Dorman and Cameron Smith (You can read about them below). If affirmed by our church, they will join the other members of the CLT who are currently serving.
LEE DORMAN
My wife, Courtney, and I have been married 20 years and have been members of Watkinsville First Baptist Church for 15 years. We have two children: Bryce (age 15) and Katherine (age 12).
I currently serve on the Medical Safety Team, as an usher, and as a part-time Sunday School Teacher in Clay Fears’ Class.
CAMERON SMITH
My wife, Jennifer, and I have attended Watkinsville FBC since 2007. We have 3 daughters (Emma, Alyssa, and Brooke). I currently serve as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher (co-teacher of Young Married class with Carlton Guthrie), and as a member of the Parking Team.
