Online Giving
Online giving is available as a convenient way to securely give your gift towards the mission of Watkinsville First Baptist. Our church is supported by the faithful giving of our members, regular attenders, and others who invest in the ministries the Lord has given us.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
+ Which designated funds can I give to online?
Our four main designated funds are available through online giving. On the main giving page, you can change the fund designation from "General Fund" to any of the other three available funds: Acts 1:8, Benevolence, and Going Challenge.
+ Can I give to a mission trip online?
Yes! Click the "Mission Trip" tab at the top of online giving website. Make sure you select the correct mission trip fund and participant sub-fund so the correct participant will be credited. If you are attending a mission trip, more specific information will be sent to you about this.
+ Is there a processing fee when using Online Giving?
Our church pays a small administrative fee to process donations through our online gateway. An increasing number of people are choosing to give via their bank's BillPay service. This method allows you to setup regular giving without the church incurring an administrative cost. Check with your bank if you need help giving with this method.
+ If I want to mail a check or use my bank's BillPay service, what address should I use?
Please send all checks to our post office box: P.O. Box 228, Watkinsville, GA 30677. This is the safest and most secure address.
+ Can I give in person?
Yes! There are white boxes labeled "Offering" at the two main entrances to the worship center and in the lobby of the chapel building. You can place a check or cash in the top of the boxes, and they will be collected each Sunday.
+ Can I see how much I've given this year?
Yes! You can view your giving records anytime via our website. Go to watkinsville.org/my-giving to view your updated giving history. The first time you go there you will need to create a MyWatkinsville account. To view or download a contribution statement for your records at the end of each year, visit watkinsville.org/my-contribution-statement. Both of these pages can be found under the “My Watkinsville” tab on our website.
+ Who is responsible for managing online donations?
Our church's financial office, consisting of our financial secretary, administrator, and finance committee, ensures the faithful accounting and stewardship of the resources given to the church.
