Digital Communications Coordinator

Reports To: Communications Coordinator

Principle Function: The Digital Communications Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for overseeing the digital communication of the church and providing general support to other areas of church communications.

  • Digital Communication & Social Media

    • Oversee & Coordinate with outside company to keep watkinsville.org updated and fresh

      • Update Ministry pages as needed in coordination with each ministry

      • Create webpages for events/seasonal ministry needs

    • Oversee & Coordinate with outside ministry to create and direct the messaging of all WFBC social media channels

      • 3-5 posts or stories per week

      • Ensure that photography and captions are in line with brand standards

    • Sunday morning responsibilities

      • Be on campus for at least the 2nd and 3rd services

      • Edit weekly sermons/Bible studies and upload to all platforms

      • Take and edit baptism photos as needed

      • Capture video and photos

      • Utilize social media stories and posts

    • Maintain church app and ensure it stays up to date

  • Film & edit ministry videos as needed

  • Creative Work & Other Communication Projects

    • Assist with communication projects on an as-needed basis, working specifically in areas of giftedness (photography, videography, graphic design, etc.) and providing other support when required.
